Cycle 2011

This years presentation was held in Skibbereen Civil Defence Head Quarters where the selected charities for 2011 were presented with a cheques for over €6,000 each.

 

All the charities expressed their sincere gratitude for the all the hard work and dedication that went into this years and every years cycle. They also thanked the cyclist for the huge amount of sponsorship that was collected in such tough economic times.

ANNOUNCEMENT

 

It was also announced that this year €2500 will be set aside to send a child who has been seriously ill or injured on a holiday of their choice. This will be independently judged by the Southern Star newspaper personnel.
